Designer, Communicator,
Enthusiast, Survivor.
This is my story.
We all have something that drives us or gives us motivation to achieve something. My drive comes from my experience with Childhood Leukemia at the age of 12 years old.
During the 2.5 years I spent undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, I gained a wealth of love and support from so many people; not only did I have my friends and family, but I had my nurses, Doctors, caregivers, and so many others. They gave me their time, energy and focus during one of the hardest times of my life, and I couldn't be where I am today without them. These people are the source of my drive.
Ever since my journey, it has been my goal to make sure that I could help make other's journey's as easy to manage as the people in my life helped make mine. Unlike other children I met in the hospital, I didn't have a drive to become a medical professional, but I knew that I wanted to find another way to give back.
I aim to use the skills I have developed through my studies and work experience to help make other people's experiences; whether it be with cancer, accessing and understanding information, or anything in between, as easy as possible.
